About Jennifer Claire

I have always enjoyed and worked with the public and having been successful as a manager for other businesses I decided to put all that effort and hard work into working for myself. Initially inspired by a fellow College training in the Beauty industry part time as a mature student, I felt this was a great way to continue working with the public and building my own business.

I qualified in 2005 with a level 2 VTCT Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques at Brentwood Academy of Health & Beauty, which is a recognised leader in the training industry for beauty therapist. I began working immediately for myself renting a room in a local gym in Colchester as Jennifer Claire Health & Beauty. Keen to expand my knowledge and treatment menu I continued to study at Brentwood during this time and in 2006 gained an Advanced VTCT Diploma in Beauty Therapy. Having gained valuable experience and built a regular loyal client base I needed to move on and expand into my own premises. I currently work from my own salon in Colchester, still working on my own and enjoying every minute of it.

My education continued as my work with many clients highlighted a need for a more technical/remedial approach to soft tissue work, qualified in Swedish Massage, this experience highlighted that Clients often expect more from massage than Swedish techniques can offer. With a keen interest in sport and ever keen to keep up to date and learn more skills, I have now qualified from the North London School of Sports Massage another leader in its field with the highest Level 5 BTEC diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage currently available. I am qualified to work with Athletes of all levels from Elite to all us normal folk. This has proved to be very very popular and I have now expanded into event work, attending local sporting events offering Sports and Remedial Massage. I love the work I do and expect I will continue to add to my qualifications as the years roll on, watch this space.
